It is:

• An independent home, which is offered for rent for one or more weeks* at a time. The accommodation will normally include kitchen, bathroom, bedroom(s), lounge or dining room…you’ll be autonomous.

• All bookings should be made in advance directly with the owners, or a booking office.
A contract is established.

•You would be expected to provide your own bed linen, towels, and cleaning etc., although all this can be included at an extra cost when booking. .

* Some Gites may offer shorter bookings than 1 week.

It is: :

• Your host offers you a comfortable bedroom and bathroom en suit, within a good quality French home.

• Your accommodation can be booked for one or more evenings and breakfast is included..

• Some accommodation also offers evening meal  (table d’hôte) giving you the opportunity of tasting the local cuisine.

• All bookings should be made in advance directly with the owners, and even last minute bookings can be made if there are vacancies available .

• All rooms have fresh bed linen and towels, and are cleaned daily.

• Late arrival can be accepted if the owner  has been informed.
